Well, where to start?

I don’t know about you, but I’m always more interested in where other people are now and where they are going, than in what has brought them to where they are now – so I’ll spare you the history for now, you can read it further down if you want.

Sufffice to say that, after having experimented with a number of different avenues over the (numerous) years I’ve been on this planet, I now feel that I’m doing what really inspires me, and that all of the jigsaw pieces which make up the vision of my life are coming together.  Not entirely there yet, but hey it’s the journey that’s the fun bit!!

I am something of a serial entrepreneur, always having more that one project on the go at any time, which I used to think was a “fault” of mine – that I couldn’t stick with just one thing.  But I’ve come to realise that it’s actually how I operate best, as an instigator and energiser.  I love variety and challenge.  Being a “Big Picture” thinker and strategist, I get bored easily if I stick with just one thing.

Operating a number of businesses gives me the opportunity to work on different ideas, and with different people who have different skills to me, which is great fun.  It also fits with my view of a good wealth creation strategy, namely that we need to have different streams of income and investments.

There is a lot going on in my world just now, with lots of exciting developments in my businesses that I want to share with you.  These developments are also throwing up some challenges for me, and will, without doubt, move me well and truly out of my comfort zone.  So I will be sharing that journey with you, and see what we learn:-)

Ok, the history bit ….

I spent over 20 years working in “Corporate Land”, primarily in the Financial Services sector, in various roles from Clerical Assistant through Financial Adviser to Business Manager.

My career served me well, and provided for a decent standard of living, but I began to realise that working my socks off for someone else was not going to give me the financial freedom I wanted, so I decided to change direction and look for another way.

This was when my education in Wealth Creation and Property began!

I quit my job and started doing some business consultancy work on a freelance basis, so that I would have the time and space to figure out what I really wanted to do, and to get started in property.

On the property front, I bought a couple of houses, re-furbished them and then sold them on for a profit..  I then bought a couple more, refurbished and re-financed them, and rented them out – the start of my modest property portfolio, which I continue to build.

I also became very interested in Personal Development and Coaching. Remember, I was looking for a new direction in my life!

Being coached myself helped me to get my own life onto a much better path, and as they say in the old advert – I liked it so much, I decided to train as a Coach myself.

Since then, I’ve graduated as a Master Coach, and through The Business Success Zone & iKoach continue to help numerous other Coaches,Trainers and Service Professionals to establish and build their businesses.

My other Businesses have been developed around helping others to create wealth and financial freedom, through property and entrepreneurship,

So now here I am, working with some incredible people, empowering them to make a real difference in their lives and loving every minute of it!
